Men’s Basketball Still Perfect In CUNYAC After Win At Brooklyn

Brooklyn, N.Y. – Guard Tyrese Conway registered a career-high 24 points to pace the Lehman College men's basketball team to a 91-65 win over the hosts Brooklyn College, in a CUNYAC match, at West Quad Center, on Friday evening.  The Lightning improved to a 13-6 overall ledger and still perfect in CUNYAC action with an unblemished 8-0 record, while the Bulldogs dropped to a 6-12 mark on the season and 4-4 in conference play.

After taking an 11-point lead at the intermission, Lehman shot 58 percent from the field, including 50% from downtown, in the second half, while outscoring Brooklyn 47 to 32 to cruise to its 13th consecutive victory in head-to-head meetings.

Forward Tyler Harts scored 15 points for the Lightning, while teammate Kesean Tracey and forward Amar Ndiaye had 11 points each.  Forward Manny Barkor also added 10 points for Lehman's seventh consecutive victory.

The Lightning returns to action next Saturday (January 31st) by hosting Medgar Evers College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 3 pm ET.
