Brooklyn, N.Y. – A pair of 'double-doubles' from forwards Amar Ndiaye (25 points, 13 rebounds) and Ricardo Dixon (17 points, 13 rebounds) led the Lehman College men's basketball team to a 92-65 victory against the hosts Medgar Evers College, in a CUNYAC match-up, at the Cougars Cave on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to an 8-6 overall record and a perfect 3-0 in CUNYAC action, while the Cougars dropped to an 0-13 mark and 0-3 in conference play.
After jumping out to a 12-point lead (42-30) at the intermission, Lehman went on a 50 to 35 run in the second stanza while shooting 54 percent from the field, including 50% from three-point range for its 12th consecutive victory against the Medgar Evers.
Forward Tyler Harts added 13 points for the Lightning, while guard Kofi Mends notched 11 points and guard Matthew Quinones dished out a career-high 12 assists along with nine points.
Lehman will conclude its road swing on Friday (January 9th) when it takes on CCNY, in a CUNYAC encounter, at Manhattan's Nat Holman Gym with tip-off set for 7 pm ET.
