Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team dropped its regular season finale to CUNYAC rival, Pratt Institute, 7-0, during senior day at The APEX Courts on Monday. The Lightning go to a 4-9 overall record and 3-3 in CUNYAC action, while the Cannoneers improved to an 8-0 mark and perfect 6-0 in conference play.
The highlight for Lehman in doubles action was the duo of
Ndeye (Awa) Ndiaye/
Mamie Kolley as they lost the No. 3 encounter, 7-5, to Pratt's Amaya Calonje/Quinn Steinman.
In singles action, Ndiaye dropped a 6-2, 6-3, No. 5 match to Steinman, while Kolley fell 6-3, 6-2, to Calonje in No. 6 encounter.
The Lightning advance to the CUNYAC Championship Semifinals as the #4-seed and will face the #1-seeded Cannoneers.
