Bronx, N.Y. – Lehman College men's tennis opened its 2026 season Wednesday at the APEX Courts, falling 7–0 to Yeshiva University. Yeshiva improved to 1–4 overall.

The Maccabees swept all three doubles matches and won all six singles flights. In singles play, Tayshaun Brownlee lost his first set 6–1, Gabriela Vargas dropped both of her sets 6–1, 6–2, and Elizabeth Nlemchukwu fell 6–1 in her opening set, though all three were able to score games for Lehman.

Lehman will look to rebound on Wednesday, March 18, at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, N.Y., with first serve scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
