Purchase, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team dropped a non-conference twin-bill to hosts Purchase College, 8-0, 11-0, at PC Softball Turf on Thursday. The Lightning go to a 1-3 overall record, while the Panthers improved to a 3-0 mark.
After a scoreless first inning, Purchase jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the second. The Panthers added two runs in the third and fourth innings, respectively for the victory in the opener. The Lightning highlight was infielder

In the nightcap, Purchase took a 3-0 advantage after two innings and then added four more runs in the third and fourth innings, respectively, for the doubleheader sweep. Catcher
Leilani Tejada had the only hit for the Lehman.
The Lightning will be back in action next Tuesday (March 24th) when it hosts New Jersey City University on a non-conference twin-bill at 3 pm ET.
