Abdoylaye Kante and
Jordan Johnson had five kills each however it wasn't enough as the Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped a three-set (19-25, 19-25, 24-26) CUNYAC encounter to the hosts Brooklyn College at West Quad Center on Tuesday evening. The Lightning concluded the regular season with a 10-14 overall record and 3-5 in conference play, while the Bulldogs improved to a 14-6 mark and 4-4 in CUNYAC action.
After losing the first two sets, Lehman fought back in the third and had tied it at 22-22 before Brooklyn outscored them 4-2 in the final part to claim the set and the match.
Almir Pepic had four kills and eight digs for the Lightning, while
Nathaniel Matthie dished out 15 assists with six digs.
The playoff bound Lehman will compete in the opening round of the CUNYAC Championship next week with a yet to be determined opponent.
