Box Score New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped a three-set (9-25, 22-25, 16-25) CUNYAC match to the host Baruch College at the ARC Arena on Tuesday evening.  The Lightning dropped to an 0-7 overall record and 0-1 in conference play, while the Bearcats improved to a 5-5 mark and 1-0 in CUNYAC action.

After losing the first set, Lehman took a 9-0 lead in the second, however, Baruch went on a 25 to 13 run to take the set.  The Bearcats also took the third set to claim the match.

Ayah Hamdaoui paced the Lightning offense with three kills, six assists, five service aces and eight digs, while Abena Abankwa and Alanis Vasquez had three kills each.

Lehman will be back in action at The APEX Main Gym on Thursday, September 24th, when it hosts a non-conference twin-bill against College at Old Westbury and Mount Saint Vincent University at 5 pm and 7 pm ET, respectively.
