The 411 on Andrew Rosario:
Many consider Andrew Rosario to be the heart and sole of the Lightning. He is entering his third year with Lehman. Having transferred from Central Florida Community College, Rosario has a great knowledge of the game of baseball, and he is extremely dedicated to playing the game. Last year Rosario was a mainstay in the lineup, starting every game. He batted .308, recorded 11 doubles, 28 RBI's, and 70 total bases. Rosario will hope to lead by example in 2009, both at the dish and in the field.
Coach Quirk’s comments on Andrew: “Quite Frankly, Andrew is one of my go-to guys. He admitted that last year was a transition for him and he will be more comfortable this season. We're expecting a tremendous year from him."
