The 411 on Raul Cordero: Coined by many as a player who could fly under the radar in 2009, Raul Cordero returns to the Lightning with high expectations for himself and the team. In addition to his personal goal of batting .400 in the upcoming 2009 campaign, Cordero also believes the team has the talent and determination to win the CUNY championship. Raul will be expected to contribute in a number of different ways for Lehman this year.

Coach Quirk’s comments on Raul:  “Raul Cordero is our sleeper this year. Athletically, he's the best player on the team. He's our best outfielder, and he'll also be expected to pitch for us. Our expectations for him this season are very high so we're looking forward to seeing how he can contribute."
