The 411 on Jason Caraballo:
Jason Caraballo is in his third year as a member of the Lightning. A big lefty bat, Caraballo is expected to help the Lightning offensively, as he will look to pull the ball and use the short porch in right field to his advantage. In 2008, he hit .320 and score 15 runs 25 games played (20 starts). He'll hope to improve on those numbers this season.
Coach Quirk’s comments on Jason: “Jason will start games this year against conference foes. He will also see time at first base and third base, and we're hoping that his experience will pay dividends for himself and the team this season."
