Biography
The 411 on Taniefa Taylor
Taniefa Taylor returns to the Lightning after being a part of the Lightning squad that captured a CUNYAC championship back in 2007. The experience she gained from that championship run will be vital for her as Lehman College will look to win their first conference championship in four years.
Taylor brings tremendous intensity to the court and worked hard in the offseason to improve her conditioning and get herself in game shape. The Yonkers native will be extremely aggressive in Lehman College's transition defense this upcoming season, and she'll battle for time at the small forward position.
The forward is excited about being back in the fold after being away from the Lehman College women's basketball team for the past two seasons. She brings a championship mindset and will to win that Head Coach Eric Harrison's embraces, and her coaching staff is eager to see how she will contribute this season.
