The 411 on Alicia McDaniel

Freshman Alicia McDaniel is an extremely intriguing addition to the Lehman College women's basketball team. A George Washington High School product, McDaniel will compete right away for playing time after averaging close to 20 points and 17 rebounds per game during her high school career.

The Bronx native is expected to be a very imposing factor in the middle for the Lightning this season. If her work ethic remains the same and she continues to learn coach Harrison's system, she will see major playing time at the center position. She is a young, feisty player who is still learning the game, and she is hoping to contribute in a major way this season.
