The 411 on Leslie Mencia:

Leslie Mencia joined the Lightning during the second half of the 2009-2010 season looking to make an impact and help put Lehman College over the top. In her very first game as a member of the team, she dropped in 15 points and snatched 11 rebounds as she helped the Lightning defeat Hunter College 74-72 in overtime.

Mencia brings so many dimensions to the Lehman College basketball team. She has the ability to score, rebound, play tremendous defense, and be an inspirational leader as well with the the energy that she exemplifies on the court. Head Coach Eric Harrison believes her talent is uncanny, and he is extremely excited about the potential impact she will have on the team.
