Chiodi, a Queens, N.Y. native, came to Lehman in October 2018 after spending several seasons as an assistant baseball coach at New York University. At the same time he was a professor of Sports Management at St. John’s University since 2016.
Chiodi spent 2011-14 as head baseball and women’s basketball coach at King’s College in N.Y., before being Director of Athletics and Sports Management Instructor at NYC’s Globe College from 2008-10.
After a season (2006-07) as assistant men’s basketball coach at Adelphi University, Chiodi served as Director of Athletics and Health/Physical Education Lecturer at Queensborough Community College from 2001-05. During his tenure at Queensborough, he was also head baseball coach during the 2000-01 campaign.
Chiodi is 1989 graduate of St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic administration. He also earned a master’s degree in physical education from Hofstra University in 1998.
A certified New York State Physical Education Teacher and School Administrator/Supervisor, Chiodi resides in Williston, N.Y and will also be an assistant with the men’s baseball team.
