Michael Pisaniello joins the Lehman College baseball staff prior to the 2015 season, and brings a lifetime of baseball experience to the Lightning.
A now retired U.S. Postal Service worker, he currently serves as the Director of Operations for the Highlander Training Academy in the Bronx, working alongside head coach James Cisco.
Dedicated to the sport of baseball, the Bronx native runs the Tri State Prospect Report, a database of the area’s top high school baseball prospects. He also serves a New York Area Scout for the Global Scouting Bureau, and is a member of The New York Professional Baseball Scouts Association. In those roles, he has facilitated signing players to independent, affiliated, and foreign baseball programs in the United States and abroad.
A member of the Advisory Board of the Service Alliance for Youth, he fosters the growth of boys and girls through sports activities and educational excellence for the community based organization. He also holds a certification from the National Alliance for Youth Sports.
Additionally, Pisaniello acts as an advisor and administrator for College Baseball PREP, a Service Alliance for Youth program, which assists high school student-athletes with the college recruiting process.
He resides in the Bronx with his wife Carol. Together they have two children and seven grandchildren.
