Lehman College Athletics

De La Cruz has spent the last 7 years working as an assistant at Lehman College, following a stella career as a player at Lehman in which he helped lead the lighting to the the schools only ECAC title in 2009.

De La Cruz assists in all facets of the lighting program including recruiting, administration and player development with a special focus on guard play. This past season Gian Batista became CUNYAC Player of the Year and D3 All-American. There have been a numerous of guards that have come to Lehman that coach De La Cruz has helped in their improvement such as Luis Hernandez who was first team All-CUNY and Mylo Mitchell, this past season both played professionally overseas.

De La Cruz is also part of the Dominican Republic national basketball youth team. Where he has help run basketball camps in NY and NJ.
