Lehman College Athletics

Vladmir Bestic was named Assistant Coach of the men’s soccer team in August 2021.

Bestic has over 14 years experience coaching from grassroots to college level. Prior to joining Lehman College, Bestic was the assistant men's coach at Pace University.

Bestic has an experience working with children and adults with special needs. Bestic coached U10-12 teams for two years at Youth Academy at FC Zemum in Belgrade, Serbia.

Bestic spent four years coaching with Super Soccer Stars and Stars Premier in Manhattan.

Bestic played eight seasons of semi-professional soccer in Serbia.

Bestic earned a Bachelor's degree in Coaching in Sport – Soccer at the University “Union-Nikola Tesla” Faculty of Sports Belgrade, Serbia.

He holds a Class F coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) as well as a National Youth License (US Soccer) and a Level 5 certification from the the United Soccer Coaches Association.
