Patricia Zapata joined the staff in August of 2022 as the assistant women’s tennis coach.
Zapata played tennis at the USTA and ATA junior Tournaments, where she became ranked in East as well as nationally.
Zapata spends her time developing kids with basic tennis skills at the Squire Tennis Camp. In 2001, Zapata returned to her alma mater Southern University. The tennis team won Division Championship three years in a row to make it to the NCAA tournament.
Prior to joining Lehman, Zapata coached at the Harlem Jr. Tennis and Education Program. Zapata developed tennis skills for youth ages 5-18.
Zapata graduated from Southern University.
