Fider, who has spent her first season in charge of women's side during the fall campaign, will now have the additional coaching duties of overseeing the men's squad as they commence action in January 2020.
At the helm of the men's team, Fider posted a 5-17 overall record during a shorten 2020 campaign. During the 2019 fall season, Fider guided women's squad that finished with a 4-25 overall record in 2019 however its 2-5 mark in conference play secured a berth into the CUNYAC postseason for the first time since 2017.
Prior to joining Lightning athletic staff this past summer, the Nyack College graduate Fider has coached in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and New York, with over a dozen years of coaching in high school, juniors adult and club volleyball.
She also played collegiately as an opposite hitter and defensive specialist at Nyack and Dowling College.
Fider's full-time work has been in the mental health and social service industry.
