NEW YORK, N.Y. - Junior Adriana Navarette's two first place finishes were negated by a strong showing by host John Jay College as the Bloodhounds defeated the Lightning 74-21 on Tuesday night to run Lehman's current losing streak to three meets.

Navarrete was the only Lightning swimmer to take the top spot as she swam to victory in the 50-yard freestyle (28.65) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:18.82).

For the Bloodhounds Samantha Valenzuela captured both the 200-yard IM (3:02.87) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:28.91).  Valenzuela was also part of John Jay's winning team in the 200-yard medley relay.

Lehman will jump back in the water on November 29 when it travels to Patchogue, Long Island for a meet with St. Joseph's College.
