BRONX, N.Y. - The Hunter Hawks continued their recent dominance of the Lightning on Monday afternoon, defeating Lehman 8-1 to drop the Lightning to 0-4 on the season.

Daraliz Collado captured the team's only victory on the day, knocking off Stephanie Ahwireng 7-5, 6-3 in No. 2 singles action. Freshman
Patricia Cadet gave her No. 5 opponent, Amanda Annicaro, all she could handle, taking the first set 6-4 before dropping the final two sets 7-5 and 10-0.

Ravnit Bhatia was forced to default her match against Jane Selegean; No. 3
Nellya Blinova was toppled by Gina Yeo 6-3, 6-1; No. 4
Marisela Camano battled Arielle Zeiff to a 7-6, 6-1 loss; and No. 6
Jeremaeh Torres was blanked 6-0, 6-0 by Sophia Ponce.
On the doubles side Lehman's No. 2 combo of Blinova and
Marisela Camano fell 8-5 to Yeo and Zeiff, while Bhatia and Collado (8-0) and Cadet and Torres (8-2) were put down rather easily by their Hawks counterparts.
Lehman next takes to the court on Thursday for a conference match against John Jay.
