BRONX, N.Y. – Three different players scored two goals apiece as the Lehman College women's soccer team beat Medgar Evers College 8-0. Lehman improves to 4-5 overall, and 2-2 in the CUNYAC. MEC drops to 0-4, and 0-2.

Freshmen Olusawayo Alo (Bronx, N.Y./Emmanuel Comprehensive), Thamare Rejouis (Brooklyn, N.Y./Science Skills Center), and Melanie Varillas (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) combined for six of the Lehman goals. Alo added two assists, while Tiffany Altamirano (New Rochelle N.Y./New Rochelle) had one goal and two assists.

For the game, Lehman took 54 shots. MEC keeper Yishka Chin played superbly in goal, making 25 saves.

The Lightning will return to action on Saturday, October 6, hosting Sarah Lawrence College at 2:00 p.m.
