BRONX, N.Y. - The Lehman College women's soccer team exacted some revenge on Tuesday night, beating visiting York College, 2-0. The game was a non-conference match, despite both teams being members of the CUNY Athletic Conference.

Earlier in the year, York had defeated Lehman, in a game played at York.

Tonight, Lehman jumped out to a 2-0 lead at half, then cruised to the win.

Lehman's first goal came when Samantha Dias (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot) dribbled the ball though the midfield, then played a through ball to Tiffany Altamirano (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle). Altamirano drove to the goal, beating both her defender and the York keeper in the process.

The second goal came on an indirect kick situation. Juliana Generoso (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) tapped the ball to Altamirano, who drove a kick over into the top right corner for her sixth goal of the year.

Lehman has one regular season match left on the schedule, this coming Friday night, against John Jay College at the Met Oval in Queens.
