Lehman Swimming Teams Tripped Up at Baruch

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's and men's swimming teams both lost on Friday night at Baruch College. The women lost 97-75, while the men's score was 129-76.

Swimming the short course at Baruch, freshman Susana Perez (New York, N.Y./Community Health) was a double winner for the women, finishing first in both the 100-backstroke and 100-breaststroke events. Senior Aytaissa Estime-Kirkpatrick (New York, N.Y./LS 3) won the 400-freestyle event.

On the men's side, senior Ivan Srdanovic (Bronx, N.Y./NYC Lab) was a double winner, winning both the 400- and 800-freestyles, while sophomore Able Dupres (Bronx, N.Y./DeWitt Clinton) captured the 100-butterfly.

The Lightning host a pair of dual coed meets next week, finishing the CUNYAC portion of the schedule with York College on Tuesday, January 22, before closing out the regular season with William Paterson University on Thursday, January 24.
