BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference match to the King's College, 8-2, on the South Field on Wednesday afternoon.

Junior forward Juliana Generoso (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) tallied her ninth goal of the season to tie the game at one, 14:00 into the match. After King's (N.Y.) (9-3) regained the lead, freshman midfielder Lillian Barreto (Bronx, N.Y./Harry S. Truman) scorched her 10^th goal of the season to even the contest at two, with 8:29 remaining in the first half.

The King's College scored six unanswered goals in the final 45 minutes of play to win the match.

Freshman goalkeeper Stephanie Gonzalez (Yonkers, N.Y./Gorton) made 13 saves for the Lightning (8-7-1). Junior defender Andrea Vazquez (Bronx, N.Y./Bronx Center) and freshman midfielder Pamela Sanchez (Yonkers, N.Y./Saunders) each picked up an assist.

The Lightning have now concluded the regular season and will play in the CUNY Athletic Conference/Brine Semifinals on Wednesday. The opponent is to be determined.
