BRONX, N.Y. – For the first time in program history, the Lehman College women's soccer team will compete in the post-season, as the #7 Lightning will travel to Newark for an ECAC Division III Metro/Upstate Championships first round matchup with #2 Rutgers-Newark, at 7:30 p.m.

Here is the tournament breakdown:

*First Round – Wednesday, November 12 
No. 8 Elmira (7-6-3) at No. 1 Richard Stockton (14-8)
No. 7 Lehman (8-7-1) at No. 2 Rutgers University-Newark (12-7-2)
No. 3 The Sage Colleges (11-5-2), No. 6 The College of Staten Island (9-8-2)
No. 4 Stevens Institute of Technology (11-7), No. 5 Kean (10-6-2)

*Semifinals – Saturday, November 15 at Highest Remaining Seed
No. 1 Richard Stockton /No. 8 Elmira winner vs. No. 4 Stevens Institute of Technology/No. 5 Kean winner
No. 2 Rutgers University-Newark/No. 7 Lehman winner vs. No. 3 Sage College/No. 4 Stevens Institute of Technology winner

Lehman (8-8-1) will be led by freshman midfielder Lillian Barreto (Bronx, N.Y./Harry S. Truman) who has scored 10 goals this season. Junior forward Juliana Generoso (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) is right behind her with nine goals. Freshman goalkeeper Stephanie Gonzalez (Yonkers, N.Y./Gorton) has earned seven shutouts on the season, making 136 total saves.
