BRONX, N.Y. – It is a busy weekend in Lehman College athletics as both the men's and women's basketball teams kick off the season by competing in tournaments. Sophomore John Pollina will also be competing in the NCAA Cross Country Atlantic Regional.

The women's basketball team will open the 2014-15 campaign this weekend, at the Pablo Coto Tip-Off Tournament, hosted by Marymount (Va.) University. The Lightning will battle Delaware Valley College in the first round on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.  Live stats will be available here. The winner of Saturday's game will play the winner of host Marymount versus Albright on Sunday in the championship game on Sunday. The two teams who fall short in Saturday's matchups will face each other in the consolation game, also on Sunday.

The men's basketball team will head to Glassboro, N.J., for the Rowan University Tournament. Lehman will face Neumann University in the opener on Saturday at 3:00 p.m., then either the hosts or Penn State-Brandywine on Sunday.
