Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's and women's cross-country teams showcased their competitive drive on Friday, running at Iona University's Br. Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions. Held at the iconic Van Cortlandt Park, the meet featured a multi-divisional field spanning NCAA Divisions I, II, and III.

Freshman Amanda Montano led the charge for the Lightning women, clocking a time of 23:09.0 to secure 30th place in the competitive 5K race. 

On the men's side, Marc Saint-Hilaire paced the Lehman squad in the 5-Mile Run, crossing the finish line at 33:59.6 to match the performance with his own 30th-place finish.

The Lightning will return to action next Friday, September 18th. The squads are set to travel to New Jersey to compete in the Caldwell University Cougar Chase.
