BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team will battle the College of Staten Island on Wednesday evening, in a CUNY Athletic Conference Championships Semifinal match, on the campus of Brooklyn College, at 6:30 p.m. The #3 Lightning and #2 Dolphins will follow a match between top-seeded Brooklyn and the fourth seed, City College.

Tonight's winners will face off for the CUNYAC Championship, which will be held on Saturday, November 8, at 2:00 p.m., also at Brooklyn College.

Lehman has now made the CUNYAC Championships in two of the program's first three years. The Lightning's eight wins in the regular season matches a team record set in its inaugural year in 2012.
Lehman will be led by freshman midfielder
Lillian Barreto (Bronx, N.Y./Harry S. Truman) who has scored 10 goals this season. Junior forward
Juliana Generoso (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) is right behind her with nine goals. Freshman goalkeeper
Stephanie Gonzalez (Yonkers, N.Y./Gorton) has earned seven shutouts on the season, making 127 total saves.Â
