Volleyball, Men's and Women's Soccer All Start Seasons This Weekend

BRONX, N.Y. – The fall sports season has finally arrived, ushering in the start of the 2014-15 academic year. This Labor Day weekend, three of our fall sports teams open up, with women's soccer taking to the South Field in the only home game of the weekend.

Women's soccer has a busy weekend, and will play at home on the South Field on campus on Friday, August 28, hosting Yeshiva University at noon. Admission is free of charge, and the weather should be beautiful for the matinee. If you're not going to be able to make it to the game, you can follow along via livestats on any computer or mobile phone, at this link. Lehman then closes out the holiday weekend with a Sunday afternoon match against Bronx rival Mt. St. Vincent, in a game played on their campus up in Riverdale. The match starts at noon, and you can follow along via livestats at this link.

Men's soccer, meanwhile, will also face Yeshiva on Friday afternoon, in a noontime matchup held at Bronx Community College. If you're not heading to that game, you can follow along via livestats, at this link.

Women's volleyball is heading north to Oneonta, N.Y., for an overnight trip to a tournament at Oneonta State. On Friday, Lehman will face Curry College from Mass. at 6:00 p.m., then Hartwick College at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, the Lightning will face the College of Mt. St. Mary at noon, and the hosts at 2:00 p.m. No livestats are available during the weekend, but there is a dedicated page for the tournament, at this link.
