BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Lehman College cheerleading team competed in the CUNY Athletic Conference Championships, and finished in fourth place with 65.83 team points.
Host Brooklyn College won the championship with 78.33 points, followed Kingsborough Community College (66.83), John Jay (66.33), Lehman, and CCNY (48.16).
Head Coach Juliette St. Fleur was named the CUNYAC Coach of the Year, while senior
Briana Lawrence (Yonkers, N.Y.) was named the inaugural Sportsmanship winner.
During the competition, junior
Junette Cupid (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored 12.5 points with a fifth place finish in the Jumping segment.
