Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College Athletic Department continues to look back at all its respective teams with Lightning's Season-In-Review and this edition we highlight the cheerleading squad during 2018-19 campaign by capturing the bronze medal at CUNYAC Competition.

Under the direction of Natalie Leon, the Lightning, whom normally are seen during men's and women's basketball encounters, competed in the annual conference cheerleading competition, where they finished in third place with total of 52.10 points. 

Lehman also placed second in stunts and third in jumping at the event.

Other highlights for the Lightning were Jazira Encarnacion named to the CUNYAC Sportsmanship Team, while Jianee Carrasco and Chinique Joseph won Team MVP and Coach Awards, respectively.
