BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team dropped a non-conference contest to Purchase College, 15-3, on the South Field on Monday afternoon.

Senior Meghan Bravo (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) drove in all three runs for the Lightning (2-3). In the bottom of the first, she doubled to left field, scoring senior Ashley Williams (Bronx, N.Y./Bronx Leadership Academy) and sophomore Linda Resto (Bronx, N.Y./Lehman H.S.) to cut the Panthers' (4-7) lead to 4-2. In the bottom of the fifth, Bravo singled to centerfield, scoring sophomore Arlette Martinez (Brooklyn, N.Y./Newtown).

In the circle, Bravo took the loss to fall to 2-3. She pitched a complete game, giving up 13 earned runs, while striking out four hitters.

The Lightning will battle John Jay, in a CUNY Athletic Conference road game, on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
