BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team dropped both ends of the CUNY Athletic Conference doubleheader, against the College of Staten Island, on Monday evening on the South Field. Lehman lost Game One, 15-0, while dropping the second game, 10-0.

In the first game, sophomore Linda Resto (Bronx, N.Y./Lehman H.S.) took the loss in the first start of her career, against a strong Staten Island team.

In the second game, Resto reached base twice, while sophomore Meghan Bravo (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) produced a single. In the circle, Bravo got the loss. She pitched a complete game, giving up nine earned runs, while striking out three hitters in seven innings pitched.

The Lightning will be back in action on Tuesday, for another CUNYAC doubleheader, against Baruch for Senior Day, on the South Field beginning at 4:00 p.m.
