BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team cruised to a 10-0 victory over Medgar Evers, on the South Field, on Wednesday evening. Lehman is now 8-1 overall, and 3-0 in CUNYAC play.
 
Senior forward Juliana Generoso (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle), sophomore midfielder Lillian Barreto (Bronx, N.Y./Harry S. Truman), and freshman midfielder Daisy Gomez (Port Chester, N.Y./Port Chester) each produced two goals to lead the Lightning attack. Freshman midfielder Chelsey Harris (Bronx, N.Y./Cayon), sophomore midfielder Gredia Sanchez-Espejel (Yonkers, N.Y./Yonkers), junior forward Emily Szlachta (New York, N.Y./LaGuardia), and sophomore midfielder Estefany Balbuena (New York, N.Y./Manhattan Center) each tallied a goal.
 
Barreto also added three assists, while Gredia Sanchez-Espejel, sophomore midfielder Pamela Sanchez-Espejel (Yonkers, N.Y./Saunders), senior defender Samantha Dias (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot), freshman midfielder Michelle Reyes Ruiz (Valhalla, N.Y./Valhalla), and junior defender Vividiana Casco (Brooklyn, N.Y./New Utrecht) each produced one assist.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Stephanie Gonzalez (Yonkers, N.Y./Gorton) made three saves to earn the shutout.
 
The Lightning will be in action on Saturday, for a non-conference match with Valley Forge, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
