Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's and women's soccer will both play Wednesday night, as the men's team faces CUNYAC foe Medgar Evers College on the road while the women host John Jay College at the South Field.

On the men's side, the Lightning (7-3-3, 5-0-2 CUNYAC) are coming off an exciting 1-0 win Saturday over Staten Island. Essosa Aluyi notched the game-winning goal in the 62nd minute to earn the conference win. The win extended their conference unbeaten streak to seven games, and now sits in first place as well as clinches a first-round bye in the conference tournament.

They will take on the Cougars in their final conference game of the 2016 regular season, who are unbeaten in the last two games with a win over the College of St. Elizabeth and a draw with York (N.Y.)

The women's team (7-5-1, 3-1-0 CUNYAC) are seeking their fourth straight victory in their final home game of the season. They are fresh off wins over Purchase College and CUNYAC foe Medgar Evers last week. Daisy Gomez led the way with three goals in the week, including both goals in the Purchase victory. For her effort, she earned the CUNYAC Player of the Week honors.

Start time for the men's game is set for 5:00 p.m. at the Aviator Complex in Brooklyn, while the women play at home starting at 5:30 p.m. Live stats and streaming video of that match will be available on the Lehman Athletics website.
