Bronx, NY – The Lehman (8-7-1) women's soccer team lost their regular season finale 1-0 to CCNY (8-6).  This contest was deemed a non-league game. 

Marissa Olsen, the CUNYACs leading goal scorer, tallied the game's only goal 18 minutes into the second half as she redirected a corner kick with her head past the out stretched arms of Lehman goalie Linda Resto.  The corner kick and assist was credited to Tatiana Zuluaga.  It was Olsen's 18 goal of the season.

Lehman's Chelsey Harris recorded four shots on goal but could not find the back of the net. 

The contest was pretty even.  The Lightning were credited with 13 shots and the Beavers with 11.  Resto recorded 7 saves while the Beavers goalie, Catherine Langkamp recorded 9 saves.  Each team was awarded four corner kicks. 

Both the Lightning and Beavers have qualified for the CUNYAC post-season tournament.  Lehman, the number 3 seed will face CSI, the number 2 seed.  Host and number 1 seed Brooklyn will take on CCNY, the number 4 seed, in the first semi-final at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2.  The Lehman-CSI game is scheduled to kick-off at 6:30 PM.  The winners of each semi-final will meet in the final on Saturday, November 5^th.
