Men's Cross Country

Full Slate of Matchups for the Lightning This Weekend

Bronx, N.Y. – A full slate of exciting contests await Lehman College throughout this weekend, including some important conference matchups in different fall sports.

Coming off their best offensive performance in a 7-2 win over York Wednesday night, the men's soccer team (5-3-3, 3-0-2 CUNYAC) will look to extend their CUNYAC unbeaten streak to six against John Jay College. The Bloodhounds are coming off a shutout victory over Baruch College.

Start time on the road at Randall's Island Field #73 is set for 12:00 p.m.

On the women's side, the Lightning (4-5-1, 1-1-0 CUNYAC) will seek their second conference win of the season when they take on York (N.Y.) Saturday morning. They are coming off a non-conference loss on the road against the College of Mount Saint Vincent. In their last match, the Cardinals were defeated by Sarah Lawrence Wednesday night. The game at Queens College is set for 12:00 p.m.

The streaking Lehman women's tennis team (8-1, 2-1 CUNYAC) aim for their eighth consecutive match victory, when they host CUNYAC foe John Jay. First serve at the APEX Courts Saturday is set for 12:00 p.m.

Both the men's and women's cross country teams will also embark to New Jersey Saturday morning, taking part in the NJIT Highlander Invitational in Newark. Start time is set for 11:00 a.m. at Branch Brook Park.
