Bronx, N.Y. -- The Lehman College men's and women's swimming and diving teams begin their 2016-17 campaign Thursday when they both take on Maritime College on the road in Throggs Neck.

The men's Lightning (6-4) team under head coach Peter Kiernan is coming off a season where they tied for second in the CUNYAC finals. In the meeting last season, they dropped a 134-107 decision the Privateers last December 2nd at the APEX Swimming Pool.

On the women's side, they finished 6-7 last season and a fourth-place finish in the conference finals. When the two teams met last season, the Lightning were victorious over Maritime, 111-95, December 2nd.

Start time is scheduled is 6:00 p.m. at Maritime.
