Box Score 2 PHOENIXVILLE, PA --- The Lehman College softball team won both games of their Saturday double-header at the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, 15-7 and 11-10, respectively.
The Lightning of Lehman (7-11) were led by junior pitcher
Meghan Bravo, who pitched all 12 innings for the visitors, tallying nine strikeouts. Bravo also drove in four runs at the plate, including two RBI base hits in the first game. Junior catcher
Linda Resto had five hits and four RBI at the plate. Freshman shortstop
Genesis Paulino went four-for-six with two walks, scoring five runs on the day. Senior center fielder
Chariny Graciano tallied six hits.
The Patriots of Valley Forge (4-16) were led by Samantha Reed, who drove in three runs.
Lehman, ranked third in the NCAA in stolen bases per game at press time, combined for 16 on Saturday, including four by Resto.
Lehman plays next on Tuesday when they travel to Drew University for a 4:00 p.m. double-header.
