Madison, NJ – The Lehman College (7-13) softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader falling to Drew University (9-17) 8-0 and 15-0.

The Rangers were able to hold the Lightning bats in check.  Lehman only recorded two hits in the first game as second baseman Crystal Contreras and right fielder Yaidee Nieves each recorded a single.  Bethany Budner pitched the complete game striking out four and walking two to earn her seventh w of the season. 

Game two wasn't any better for the Lightning as their four game winning streak was snapped.  Although Lehman was able to double their hit output from the opener they still came out on the wrong side of the output.  Meghan Bravo, Linda Resto, Nieves and Contreras each recorded hits.  The Rangers plated runs in each inning while pounding out 12 hits. 

The Lightning return to the South Field on Thursday for a twinight doubleheader against St. Joseph's (Brklyn).  First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
