Bronx, NY – All of Lehman College Fall teams will be on the road this weekend. Women's Tennis travels to the College of New Rochelle and Kean (NJ), men's soccer goes to Brooklyn College, Women's volleyball will participate in a tri-match at NJCU with Sarah Lawrence, women's soccer travels to Wesley (DE) and the cross country squads go up the road to the Queensborough Invitational which will be contested at Van Cortlandt Park.
Fresh off a victory earlier in the week, the Lehman College women's tennis team travels this weekend to face off with the College of New Rochelle Friday afternoon then to New Jersey to take on Kean University Saturday. The Lightning (2-1) look to win back-to-back matches for the first time this season. They are coming off a dominating 9-0 win over CUNYAC foe Brooklyn College Monday afternoon. Seniors

Lynessa George led the way at the No. 1 and 2 singles and doubles spots, respectively. New Rochelle (0-1) is coming off a 0-9 loss to the very same Brooklyn College Tuesday afternoon in their second debut.The Cougars (2-1) are looking to extend their winning streak to three matches, defeating Neumann University and Rutgers-Newark. This caps off a four-match road stand for Lehman, and will return home next week for matchups against York (N.Y.) in CUNYAC play and St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn).
The men's soccer team will travel to Brooklyn (2-3) to face the Bulldogs in the opening conference game for each school. In their most recent outing the Lightning (2-2-1) defeated Maritime 1-0.
Maurice Blake netted his first goal of the season off a corner kick from

Jesus Marin recorded a clean sheet and was credited with seven saves. The Lightning are seeking revenge as last year Brooklyn bounced the Lightning out of the CUNYAC play-offs. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:30 PM.

The volleyball squad has posted back-to-back straight set victories in their last two outings and now stand at 4-3. They continue non-conference action Saturday afternoon at New Jersey City University. The Lighting will battle Sarah Lawrence at 1:00 PM before taking on the hosts at 3:00 PM.

The women's soccer team will make the long trip down to Delaware to face Wesley College at 7:00 PM. Lehman is now 2-2 and is coming off a 2-0 defeat in their conference opener against Staten Island.

On Sunday the Cross Country squads will make the short drive up the road to Van Cortlandt Park to participate in the Queensborough CC Invitational. The women's race gets underway at 10:00 AM with the men's race to follow at 11:00 AM.
