Bronx, NY – The Lehman College women's soccer team will travel up to Sarah Lawrence Sunday evening at 6:30 PM. The game will be played at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers. Both the men's and women's cross country teams will be racing in Van Cortlandt Park on Sunday morning.
Earlier this week, the Lehman women's soccer team got back to their winning ways with a 2-0 CUNYAC victory over CCNY. The Lightning got a pair of first half goals from
Chelsey Harris and
Daisy Gomez to secure the win. Lehman now stands at 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the CUNYAC.
To date the Lightning and Gryphons have one similar opponent; CCNY. The Lighting downed the Beavers 2-0 in their most recent outing. While Sarah Lawrence lost to CCNY 3-0 two weeks ago.
Two days ago, Sarah Lawrence traveled up to Newburgh, NY for a Skyline Conference game against Mount Saint Mary came got blanked 9-0. The loss leaves the Gryphons with a 2-4 overall record and a 1-2 mark in the Skyline. The loss snapped a two game win streak that featured back to back victories over Yeshiva (8-0) and Saint Elizabeth (4-0).

The men's and women's cross country teams head back to Van Cortlandt Park to participate in the York College Invitational. The women's race is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM with the men's race to follow. The women will run a 6 K loop while the men's course is 8 K.
