Box Score Bronx, NY – Lehman forward Chelsey Harris has been named CUNYAC Player of the Week for the week ending September 25, 2016.

In two games this past week, Harris recorded the game winner in both contests.

In the mid-week tilt against CUNYAC rival CCNY, Harris put the Lightning on the board midway through the first half as she received a through ball from Julie Noguez and beat the Beavers keeper.  On Sunday the sophomore tallied twice including the game winner as Lehman downed Sarah Lawrence 3-1.  Twelve minutes into the contest as she was able to break away from the Sarah Lawrence defender right down the middle of the field.  Six minutes into the second half, Harris again found the back of the net, her fourth of the season.  Harris redirected a corner kick, from Gredia Sanchez, off her head to double the Lehman lead.

Harris and her team mates have one game this week on Wednesday at 5:00 PM on the South Field against Manhattanville.
