Bronx NY – The Lehman College women's tennis season begins today as they play host to the Gryphons of Sarah Lawrence College.  The match is scheduled to start at Noon on the APEX Courts.  It is the opening match of the season for both teams. 
The women's volleyball team hits the road for the first time this year as they travel to Brooklyn to battle CUNYAC foe Medgar Evers College.  The Lightning are in search of their first win of the season.  On Thursday night Lehman kicked off the 2016 campaign at home falling in straight sets to the Pioneers of William Paterson.  First serve is scheduled for 2:00 PM. 
Both the men's and women's cross country team will see their first action of the season on Sunday.  Both teams will be running the fabled course in Van Cortlandt Park.  The men will compete in an 8K event while the women will be running a 6K. The women's race is slated to start at 9:30 AM with the men's event to follow.
