Sacha Espiritu and her teammates look to snap a three game skid at they host the Hawks of Hunter College at 3:30 PM on the APEX Courts. The Lightning enter today's match with a 2-8 overall record and a 1-1 mark in conference play. Hunter stands at 1-4 overall and 1-1 in CUNYAC.
The Lightning men's soccer team sits atop the conference standings at 4-0 and 7-3 overall. Lehman has yet to surrender a goal in a CUNYAC match. In their most recent outing Lehman toppled Baruch 5-0 to move into first place in the CUNYAC. A
Kastriot Qerimi goal two minutes into the contest was all the Lightning needed but still added four more goals to secure the victory. Qerimi, a freshman, added an assist and was subsequently named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week. The Cardinals have struggled this year. After winning their season opener at the College of New Rochelle 2-0, York has dropped eight straight including three conference affairs.
