The Lehman College women's tennis team made quick work of York College defeating the Cardinals 9-0.
The Lehman doubles team of
Sacha Espiritu and
Lizaveta Markouskaya as well as the team of
Joanna Rosario and Lesilie Juanacio each won a t love.
Celine Figueroa and Alana Bierman prevailed 8-2.
In singles Espiritu, Markouskaya, Yonara Olineros and
Nadia Baba all won at love as well. Figueroa won 6-1, 6-0 and Bierman won 6-1, 6-1.
With the win the Lightning improve to 4-9 overall and 3-1 in conference play the Cardinals are winless at 0-9:0-6.
The Lightning return to action on Tuesday, October 10
th to face John Jay.
