Volleyball Falls to St. Joseph’s in Three Sets

 Patchogue, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped a three-set mat to St. Joseph's College on Saturday in Patchogue, New York.  The scores of the sets were 25-13, 25-8 and 25-11.
 
The Lightning had an early, 2-1, lead in the third set on kills from Paulette Sepulveda and Yzaira Galan.  Later in the set, Lehman had a 4-0 run on the heels of strong serving from Ariana Pradieu.  St. Joseph's ended up taking the set, 25-11.
 
Sepulveda led the team with seven digs and three kills.   Samantha Delgado had five assists and a pair of service aces.  The Lehman College women's volleyball team returns to action on Monday, October 9, when they face the College of Staten Island and CCNY in a tri-match from Staten Island.  The first match is slated to start at 11AM.
