Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Lehman College women's softball team opened the season dropping games to Rhode Island College 27-3 and Eureka College 13-0. 

The Lightning fell behind early and could not get things going offensively before falling to the Anchorman.  Rhode Island scored 10 runs in the first and added 10 more in the second to blow the game open.  The Lightning got on the board in the second when Stephany Cruz's fielder's choice plated Andrelina Gil.  Arlette Martinez paced the Lightning with two hits in three at bats. 

Lehman surrendered 10 runs in the first and could not get their bats going as the Lightning were no hit.  Eureka pounded out seven hits and were able to capitalize on four Lehman errors. 

Lehman is back it on Monday with games against Wilkes and Hilbert.
