Bronx, NY – The third seed Lehman College softball team will play host # 6 Brooklyn today at 5:00 PM on the South Field in the first round of the CUNYAC Softball Tournament.
Just over a week ago, the Lightning took two from the Bulldogs defeating Brooklyn 10-2 and 14-3. It was the last time that the Lightning took the field. A pair of doubleheaders with Yeshiva and Sarah Lawrence scheduled but were cancelled. The Lightning are riding a six game winning streak which featured a pair of wins over Baruch, York and Brooklyn. Lehman now stands at 10-22 overall and 7-5 in conference play. The Bulldogs own a 6-24 record and 2-6 mark in the CUNYAC while dropping their last eight.
The winner of today's game will move onto play # 2 seed Hunter on Friday.
